Who we are
We got tired of apps that hand you a chart
and call it advice.
Every money app on the market is very good at telling you what already happened. Almost none of them will tell you what to do about it. OneFolio was built to answer the second question.
What we believe
A tool should take a position
Showing you six charts and letting you infer the answer is not neutrality, it is abdication. The verdict engine commits: what to do this week, what it costs, what it changes. You can disagree with it. You cannot accuse it of hiding.
Reasoning you can audit
Every verdict shows its work — the accounts it read, the math it ran, the assumption it made. If the reasoning is wrong you should be able to see exactly where, not just feel that something is off.
You should be able to leave
We import your full history from Monarch, Mint, Copilot, Rocket Money, YNAB, Origin, and Tiller, because being stuck in a tool you have outgrown is the most common reason people stay. The same door opens outward. Export everything, any time.
Your money data is not a product
We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to advertisers or data brokers, and that includes aggregated and de-identified data. There are no ads in OneFolio. Bank connections are read-only, so the product cannot move your money by design.
Why I built this
I had accounts spread across five institutions and three apps, and I still could not answer a simple question: can I afford this?
Every tool gave me the same thing. A dashboard, some categories, a monthly summary. All of them described my money accurately. None of them told me what to do. I would sit down to figure out whether to pay down a card or put it in savings, and I would end up doing the arithmetic myself in a spreadsheet, next to an app I was paying for.
OneFolio is what I wanted to exist. It reads the same accounts every other app reads, and then it does the part they leave to you. It decides, it shows the math, and it tells you what changes if you act.
It will not be right about everything. But it will always tell you why it thinks what it thinks, and you will always be able to check.
Independent. No outside money telling us what to build.
OneFolio is small and self-funded. That means we answer to the people paying for it, and to no one else.
OneFolio is a decision-support tool, not a licensed financial advisor. It surfaces the reasoning behind each answer so you make the final call. Read our privacy policy for exactly how your data is handled.
